Consumer right of withdrawal

Consumers generally have the right to withdraw from the contract within fourteen days without giving reasons.

Withdrawal period

The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party named by you, other than the carrier, received the goods.

Exercising withdrawal

Effects

If you withdraw, we refund payments received including standard delivery costs within fourteen days after receiving your withdrawal notice, subject to statutory rights to withhold reimbursement until goods are returned.

Return shipment

Goods must be returned without undue delay and no later than fourteen days after notifying us. Customers bear direct return costs unless agreed otherwise.

Compensation for loss of value

You are liable for diminished value only if it results from handling not necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

Exclusions

The right of withdrawal may not exist or may expire for sealed goods unsuitable for return for health protection, hygiene, product safety or documented storage integrity reasons once the seal has been removed or damaged, where statutory requirements are met.

It also does not apply to goods made to customer specifications or clearly personalized.

B2B and research customers

Where the customer acts as a business, research institution, laboratory, reseller or otherwise not as a consumer, no statutory consumer withdrawal right applies.
